I realised a while ago I haven’t published any car racing pictures on the blog. Somehow I’ve even been avoiding the folders containing them, as I don’t want to appear to be publishing just racing pictures. Well, I’m going to try and get a few on the blog this month. They’re not for racing nerds, they’re viewable by anyone hopefully!

This first one is from the NASCAR week end at Sears Point, Sonoma (Infineon Raceway officially) back in 2005. I don’t like NASCAR, but working a race like this, you realise they know how to market themselves better than any other racing series on the planet, and they deserve much respect for that. And actually, the race wasn’t boring to watch at all, being one of the couple of races on the calendar not taking place on an oval.
